Politically speaking, I’m a very conservative individual. So, you may be asking yourselves why is this blog post antagonistic towards a Republican? Quite simply put, Ron Paul is an idiot.
The man opposes the federal government at just about every level. I truly believe that if he is elected our problems will not get better, they will get worse. He most likely will veto any bill sent to his desk as he feels states should handle most matters that isn’t constitutionally outlined.
To add insult to his already inept injury, Ron Paul criticized the U.S. armed forces in their slaying of American-born al-Qaida radical, Anwar al-Awlaki. Why did he criticize it? Because al-Awlaki was an American citizen. Ugh.
You see, al-Awlaki betrayed the United States by joining al-Qaida effectively forfeiting his U.S. citizenship. Further, he was an enemy combatant who was fighting against U.S. soldiers. If you’re working to kill Americans and American soldiers, you deserve what’s coming to you.
Yet, Ron Paul believes the man should have been properly detained and sent to the United States for trial simply because he was born here. What a joke! That man was not entitled to anything more than any other enemy combatant received. He wanted to fight with Osama Bin Laden so he received Bin Laden’s fate.
This is just a little example of the idiocy that surrounds Ron Paul’s judgment. If this man is elected to the Presidency…God help us all.
